Managing Allegations, the LADO role (FF)

This awareness session is in relation to Managing Allegations against a person who works volunteers with children and young people (LADO) and it aims to;

• To increase awareness and understanding of the statutory function of the Designated Officer for the Local Authority (LADO).
• To update your knowledge about the process of managing allegations against adults who work and or volunteer with children.
• For  you to know when it’s appropriate to make a referral to the LADO and to be confident in following the correct procedure.
